According to myth, the unicorn can only be approached by a virgin of the purest heart. A hoof bears in the inscription “2 x 2,” the manner in which the animals entered Noah’s Ark. The legends say that the unicorns refused to board the Ark out of pride and vanity, and did not survive the Flood. On the interior is a mirror for the conceited unicorn. The inside of the lid bears the name of artist Monique Baldwin’s horse “Aaron.”
Although Harmony Kingdom is still manufactured at Wimberley Mills near Stroud in Gloucestershire, since Martin Perry, the founder retired in August 2005, marketing and shipping of the pieces is done from the USA office at Harmony Ball Company in Ohio. This means that we have to consolidate our orders before having them shipped to us. We are currently taking deliveries about every 3 weeks and so there may be a delay with your order if the piece is not already in stock. We will advise by email. Hope this doesn't cause a problem.
