S e c r e t s

2010’s Santa has discovered a new form of transport, the Segway. The reindeer seems to approve, as he now gets a cushy ride on the back. Santa is addicted to speed and flattens a hedgehog and a snail. Notice the name Karen on one of the present’s gift tags. This is in reference to “Loopy Lady” Karen, an HK proprietor in England, who keeps Peter in touch with the real world. Inscribed on the lid is the name of a character in Peter’s son Sam’s favourite books - Skulduggery Pleasant the skeleton detective. “Doh” was added when Peter realised he had spelt his name wrong (too many LLLLLL’s). May 6 is Election Day in the UK. The initials of the next Prime Minister are also on the lid. It will either be Gordon Brown (again), Nick Clegg or David Cameron (who looks like Henry from the Thomas the Tank Engine stories). The interior shows Peter’s son’s favourite gift, the Nintendo DS + R4 card.

Although Harmony Kingdom is still manufactured at Wimberley Mills near Stroud in Gloucestershire, since Martin Perry, the founder retired in August 2005, marketing and shipping of the pieces is done from the USA office at Harmony Ball Company in Ohio. This means that we have to consolidate our orders before having them shipped to us. We are currently taking deliveries about every 6 weeks and so there may be a delay with your order if the piece is not already in stock. We will advise by email. Hope this doesn't cause a problem.
